The Hard Fought For Place

You have to be in a place of substance to receive substance.

The place of Earnest Stationary Petitioning

you have to find the sweet spot

you have to find the bullseye

You have to take the journey to find the insight

You have to POSITION yourself

The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

Tramping the Streets of New Jerusalem

I thought this verse in Revelations meant the saints will march the streets of New Jerusalem for 42 months.

I found this idea fascinating. first of all because we will have new heavenly bodies that won’t tire or stress or hunger or thirst or fall ill.  We will eat but the food will diminish within our bodies.  We won’t need food for energy. Just pleasure.

But the fascination value reminds me of an elderly Spanish man who walked through his town to see the streets of familiarity since his childhood before he died.  He was craving a place that would perish. Not a new city that would be eternal.

The ideal I was intrigued with was God wanting us to be familiar and intimate with all of the New City he had made for us.  This city will be amazingly huge and high.  Maybe we will walk through it twice in 42 months while the world is going through horrific tribulation.  We will become intimate with the streets and remain in awe.  We will be as fresh when we end as when we began.  We will have amazing intellects and remember every street better than a London cabbie knows his route.

Is our prayer life the same journey.  Do we become familiar and intimate with the Lord so He can increase our spiritual insight and intellect?

The time of the gentiles is when the world will trample the streets of Jerusalem in a future time of invasion.  We need a now time of invasion in prayer and let the Lord lead us in His direction for it is one direction for each one of us and we must search for His compass bearings for our giftings and ministries.   Practice your walk of Jerusalem now so you are well acquainted in His dwellings.

It is not those who attend but those who dwell in God who are chosen.

Testing Dream

Another strange dream.

Firstly a physical test to show an overcoming of fear. I defeated the opponent.

Secondly a cerebral test turning the correct symbols.  An attractive young woman in her twenties failed this and was crushed to death.  I would take it a false disciple who was ground by the stone.

Thirdly, the open door.  Promised this many years ago.

We were a group.  We had armed support crossing terrain in the open.  I came to a cave with a drop door.  No one else reached me at this point.  I would not enter. Two pillars were needed to stop the door dropping completely.   I became frustrated waiting for the others and being stalled by the cave opening.  This caused me to wake.  Then a shout outside which would have awokened me.

I had already heard from a radio host that gaol is Latin for cave.

Magnet & Steel (revelation)

Now I told you so you oughta know

you are my child to show the way I feeelll

For you are my child, my secrets to reveal

For you are the magnet and I am the steel

I can hope that I’ll hold you for long

You were a wanderer lost to your song

But the love that I feel was too strong

You are my child to show the way I feel

For you are my child, my secrets to reveal

And I can’t be wrong.

For you are the magnet and I am the steel

The dead vision shall rise

You who dwell in the dust, wake up and shout for joy. Your dew is like the dew of the morning; the earth will give birth to her dead.

Our vision is for the appointed time. it never died. It lies within you as your DNA.  When you have turned spiritually 21 your gift will open.  your inheritance will be unleashed from the Lord’s open hand.

Be Loosed ~

And he that was dead came forth, bound hand and foot with graveclothes:… and his face was bound about with a napkin…. Jesus saith unto them, Loose him, and let him go….

There will come a time when Jesus will say Lose him and let him go.

That is for the appointed time ~ Habakkuk.

We have a vision which never leaves us. That is why we know it is from God.

Whilst we sojourn as a pilgrim in our quest we must understand the journey we are in and accept that journey before we arrive at the destination.  Until we stop grieving about the destination and start rejoicing in the journey ~ what  God is showing and teaching us and what we are experiencing God cannot move us on.  Only when we get this insight after so much time of stumbling until we stand in faith as a soldier of Christ, confident in God and joyful will God be able to move us forward.  Because we rejoice in the moment not the future.  Our insights are found NOW.

learn that pilgrim.  Your vision will become richer.

Whilst we sojourn we must understand the journey we are in

Haggai – try again

You planted many seeds, but not much grew.

How we try in our own strength to be busy but business gets in the way of abiding in the True Vine.

“It is not as good.” ’ v4 But the *LORD says, ‘Be strong, Zerubbabel. Be strong, Joshua, the *High Priest and son of Jehozadak. Everybody must be strong.’ The *LORD says: ‘Work, because I am with you. v5 My *spirit is still with you. Do not be afraid. This is what we agreed when you came out of Egypt.’

There are many in the pulpit who preach moralism which can never really be attained.  But Hebrews tells us God is not unrighteous to forget our labours.  Forget the legalist and moralist.  Remember god’s grace in His word to encourage and bring us back to His vision.  For the appointed time will come.  Habbakuk.

The *corn is not in the *barn. The *grapes, *figs, *pomegranates and the *olives have not given fruit. But from today I will be good to you.’

It is not ourselves lest we boast but the Lord who remembers us.

The *LORD of everything says this. v8 ‘The *silver is mine and the gold is mine’, says the *LORD of everything. v9 ‘You are building me a house. The *glory of it will be great. It will be greater than the *glory of the old house.’ This is what the *LORD of everything says. ‘In this place I will give *peace’, says the *LORD of everything.

Listen not to man but to God. The silver and the gold He will give abundantly when our allotted time comes.  Cast your bread upon the waters. After many days the bread shall return. Ecclesiastes.

Ps 126:1-3 ESV

When the Lord restored the fortunes of Zion,
we were like those who dream.
Then our mouth was filled with laughter,
and our tongue with shouts of joy;
then they said among the nations,
“The Lord has done great things for them.”
The Lord has done great things for us;
we are glad.
